Volunteer for AASFAA

The mission of the Arizona Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (AASFAA) is to empower, educate and engage all financial aid professionals.

AASFAA is a volunteer organization.  Members are encouraged to participate in the association to ensure AASFAA remains a strong association and a leader in shaping financial aid policy in the state and the nation.

Enhance your Professional Development

Help us shape the future of AASFAA while growing your professional development.  Take a few minutes to complete the AASFAA Volunteer Form to add your name to the AASFAA volunteer database.  AASFAA uses this database to identify subject matter experts and individuals willing to lend a hand to this great association.

Committee Membership
AASFAA’s committee structure can vary year-to-year.  Most Committee Chairs are appointed by the President.  Each Chair assembles their own committee from interest expressed in the AASFAA Volunteer Form.  Almost all committee work is accomplished remotely, but some committees may hold in-person meetings as needed and as school policies permit post-Covid.

No Time? No Worries!
Every committee is different.  Don't have time for a very involved assignment?  Volunteer for small projects like assisting at a conference registration or being a panelist in a training session.  You will find a list of our committees below to choose from.  All contribution efforts are very much appreciated!

How to Volunteer
Complete the AASFAA Volunteer Form and the committee chair will reach out to you.  Thank you in advance for volunteering.
